A 15-min in person meeting is required for all pet clients in order to meet your pet and discuss your pets needs, behavior, services and preferences for care in and out of your home. I may decide during the meeting that I am not a good fit for your pet(s) needs and you will not be responsible for paying the initial fee.
*This initial $15 will be waived, if service is booked within 60 days
If you do not have a lockbox or garage code, I can come to pickup/drop off your house key/fob to be let in for pet care services. I will not copy or redistribute your key/fob with anyone other than for pet care service.
*You may also provide a copy of your key/fob at the meet and greet free of charge*
*Daytime Services occur between 7am - 7pm, Monday-Sunday, rain or shine. Shifts occur in the Morning (7-10a), Afternoon (11a-4p), and Evening (5-7p) *In cases of severe weather, I may need to cancel due to safety concerns. In severe heat, thunder, or heavy rain, we go out for a quick potty outdoors and then play indoors for the rest of the time to prioritize safety and care.
Need someone to do a quick check-in on your small pet while you're out (i.e. fish, turtle, bird, hamster, guinea pig, etc) ? I can stop by to feed, replenish water, clean up litter, administer scheduled medication, provide cuddles and/or play with your pet during a 10-minute drop in visit.

Does your pet need a short walk in the neighborhood and/or need a care and play visit while you're away? I can provide a 15-min visit to walk, feed, replenish water, clean up litter boxes, administer scheduled medication, provide cuddles and/or play during the 15-min pet visit.

Does your pet prefer a longer walk in the neighborhood and/or extended care and play visit? I can provide a 25-30 minute walk for your pet to sniff, potty, and enjoy the fresh air and scenery or extended care visit to cuddle and provide necessary care while you're away.

Is your pet super high energy and need a longer roam outdoors with playtime, enrichment, and cuddles? I can provide a 60 minute visit for a walk, playtime, cuddles and care for your pet.

Does your pet have a friend nearby or would like to make a new friend from Honey Pals Pet Care? I can arrange for your pet to be introduced to another Honey Pal client and have a fun 1-hr playdate at a nearby dog park! I will do my best to match pets based on age, size & temperament.
*When transporting, all pets must be safely secured in the backseat with a certified dog seatbelt or crate that is provided by me or pet owner.
*Max 3 dogs; +$5 for additional pet per booking; +25% on Holidays
Would your pet enjoy a nice scenic hiking adventure? I'll select a safe nearby trail or greenway to have a 1.5hr-2hr long adventure in the great outdoors for stimulating enrichment activities. You will be notified of location prior to trip.

Please note: I am an independently owned/operated small business and may not be able to provide all requested services depending on my schedule, how many pets you have, and the distance to/from home location. I will try my best to accommodate or share referral to other pet care professionals in your area!
*Per night rates are within a 24-hr time period from scheduled arrival to departure (ex: Pet Sitter arrives at 3pm and departs home at 3pm). Additional fees applied for more than one 30min walk a day during overnight stays. A 25% non-refundable deposit will be due in advance to reserve booking.
Need someone to pet sit in your home while away? While pet and house sitting, I perform a variety of tasks like:
• Feeding your pet(s) and changing their water bowls daily
• Providing daily exercise and play time (including 1-3 walks, potty breaks, and lots of indoor/outdoor play)
• Cleaning up any pet messes
• Administering pet medications, if needed
• Taking in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash/recycling
• Providing lots of companionship and TLC!

Need someone to pet and house sit while you're away for a holiday? Due to high demand for pet services during major holiday seasons, holiday rates will apply if stays include any of the following dates:
• Jan 16 - 19th (MLK Jr. Day)
• Feb 13 - 16 (Presidents' Day)
• April 3 - 5 (Easter)
• May 22 - 25 (Memorial Day)
• Jun 19 - 21 (Juneteenth)
• July 3 - 5 (Independence Day)
• Sept 4 - 7 (Labor Day)
• Nov 26 - 29 (Thanksgiving)
• Dec 24 - Jan 1 (Christmas, New Years)

In order to provide the consistent overnight care, attention, and schedule your puppy's needs to feel secure while you're away, I apply an additional $10 fee for puppies.
*Puppies are considered to be 1-2 years old or less, depending on the size and breed. For larger breeds (50lbs or more), puppies are considered up to 2 years old. Let's discuss!

Extended rate care will apply to each pet in the home, if the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the start time on the first day of the stay. We apply this rate to be compensated for additional time in schedule.
Life can be WILD and, as a social worker, I truly believe we could all use a little community support in times of need. In the spirit of community care, I also offer in-home personal care services to support my Honey Pals pet families, as needed. 💜
Need some personal care support during the day? Let’s talk about it! As long as I’m available, I could offer help with a variety of tasks like:
• Running small errands (within 10mi radius)
• Pickup/Drop Off to appointments (within 10mi radius or add)
• Adult Care Visits, Childcare Visits, General Respite care (experienced w/ dementia), Walk and Talks with you (and your pet)
• General Online/Social Media/Tech Support (paying bills, setting up a social media account, add wifi connected devices)
CANCELLATION POLICY: Honey Pals requires clients to provide a cancellation notice by 12:00PM Eastern time the day before the service begins and you will not be responsible for paying the remaining balance. If client cancels later than 12:00PM Eastern time the day before the service begins, client will be charged 50% of the service fee. A non-refundable 25% deposit is due in advance for all overnight services.
